Yes, I still care

So you might remember last year's day of caring, where I was outside in the sun painting, you know, what with it being September and all. Anyway, someone had the bright idea of doing this year's in November.

The choice I had was, paint the dressing rooms of the local theatre, who, when being renovated a few years back had run out of money, or go to a local common and dig ponds and plant trees. Now, ordinarily I wouldn't have minded doing the latter, but the thing that put me off was the statement that I would need warm clothes and boots, of which I have neither, so, for the second year running, painting it was.

There isn't too much to say, except that we were painting breeze blocks with no sealant, which is a tad soul destroying watching your paint disappear and there still being chunks of grey shining through......but we did our best.

Here's a photo of me painting, I wonder if I'll be doing the same thing next year....
