A little late

So today I got a letter from the NHS telling me that my toothy operation has been assessed and it has been decided that it should be done in a specialist oral surgery rather than the hospital, along with apologising for taking so long to organise the appointment......which is all fair enough except I had it done 2 weeks ago......

What is this, 1985??!??

So a couple of weeks ago we decided on an impromptu cinema trip, with mum looking after Bethany. We went to see Avatar, thinking we could just buy tickets on the door seeing as it has been out for ages, but the only cinema showing it at an appropriate time was the Cineworld in Enfield.

Now, I've never been to that one before, and I was absolutely shocked to have to queue for half an hour to buy a ticket. Seriously, it was like being back in the days when the local cinema had just three screens and each one had a queue for tickets. I do always remember the chippie after going to Walthamstow cinema was particularly nice

By the time we got to the front of the queue the film had already started, so we saw Sherlock Holmes instead, which was alright. Maybe we'll get to see Avatar at some point in the future
